"I gotta say, at first I thought the movie was kinda campy but fairly good. But I've been recently really wanting to watch it again. And not in the ironic MST3k "Oh let's make fun of it and turn it into a drinking game" way but actually watching it with the appreciation it deserves. That just proves that this movie isn't as forgettable as I previously thought. And also it means I'll be buying it soon (and promoting it of course!)"

"I’m a HUGE fan of the Slender Man Mythos. For my birthday a while ago, I got the movies WINDIGO and Hylo. I liked them both, but I was kinda leaning towards Hylo. I watched the “Mystery Of The Mythos” featurette, and I have a few comments.
First, I like how the Operator symbol wasn’t overused in the film, like some other books I read and vlogs I’ve seen. I agree that the hand print was a little more sensible.
And second, I’ve heard a lot of bad reviews about this movie, and I thing you guys did a really good job. People tell me that your version of the Slender Man isn’t like the original tall thin dude with the tentacles that raise it in the air and the weird affect on cameras, and I like that. I tell them, “Exactly. It’s different.”
And finally, I especially like the music. The violin and piano make it soothing and creepy at the same time.
Anyway, I think you and your crew did an incredible job on Hylo, despite what others say. I’ll be watching it until it won’t play on my DVD player anymore."

A very nice e-mail that we received.
